Learn the 4 laws of True Abundance to magnetize well being and wealth. Align with your highest purpose to find renewed vigor and zest for life. Move into a space of effortlessly attracting both money and heart centered connections in your work and personal life. Dissolve old patterns of lack that push success away through specific somatic, energetic and breath tools.
Bring in growth by invoking the energy of Maa Maha Lakshmi. She embodies love, aligned financial abundance and heart wisdom to use resources to create harmony for all.
Maa = Mother
Maha = Great
Lakshmi = Lakshya = Higher goal = having energy, health, resources and money to fulfill your full potential.
She is one of the main embodiments in Sanathana Dharma. Sanathana Dharma is the ethos from which unifying and evolutionary streams like Yoga, Tantra and Vedanta originated.
Sanathana Dharma (the eternal harmonic resonance/order) has space for both Nirguna Brahman (formless, nameless, attributeless divine) and Saguna Brahman (the divine with form, name and attributes). In the practice of Saguna Brahman there are specific and symbolic depictions of sound, affirmations, gestures, rituals, and visualisations that enable us to embody similar uplifting principles in our life. There are also guidelines as to how to manifest Deva prana or energy that is used for good. Money is also a gross form of energy and it is important that it is looked at as a manifestation of Maa Lakshmi. This allows us to be mindful and respectful of money and not money minded.
Maa Lakshmi’s abundance is seen in all of life. We will invoke her eight forms from Adhi Lakshmi (the primordial urge which carries us to liberation) to Vijaya Lakshmi (being victorious in the physical world and the mental, emotional and spiritual worlds). We will also evoke and embody all these uplifting principles through many somatic, breath, energetic, emotional regulation, mental and alignment tools.
What You Will Learn
1. Introduction to Maa Lakshmi - her form, symbolism, qualities and what it means to align with this aspect of Shakthi (universal energy and power).
2. Initiation into her manthra and mudra from Yogacharini Maitreyi, who comes from the Lakshmi Narasimha lineage. Traditionally you would only be initiated into a manthra from someone who comes from that specific lineage and has been initiated into and immersed in that energy themselves.
Manthra = tool to hone and transcend the limitations of the mind
Mudra = mystic/ energetic seal. This moves prana in specific ways to allow for new pranic and neural pathways to emerge in your system.
3. Introduction to Ashta Lakshmi - the eight aspects of Lakshmi.
4. Ashtalakshmi Nyasa.
Nyasa = placement for protection and transformation of old karmas. We place her manthra around us and in us to prevent old energy leaks and shift our innate frequency / vibration. This will support spiritual and emotional well being and health. This will also effortlessly facilitate material abundance in alignment with dharma.
Dharma = harmony / universal order
5. You will learn to look at your goals and enquire deeply into their relevance. Clarifying goals is important so that we don’t pursue the wrong ones, ones that take us away from creating harmony.
6. The old heaviness and density that lays buried within and prevents you from manifesting the best will be released.
7. You will learn how to repattern the mental-emotional or psychosomatic aspects of yourself that create suffering and self-sabotage - for yourself and others. You’ll neither play the role of victim nor victimizer. You’ll learn to create relationships that are uplifting for everyone involved.
9. You will go into life with the resources, energy and protection of the Lakshmi Narasimha lineage.
10. Invoking Lakshmi benefits your relationships. When you connect to the heart energy of Maa Lakshmi, you free yourself from the trauma of abuse and deviant sexual energies. You connect to yourself and others from a place of authentic love.
Ross’s Story About Mother Lakshmi
Years ago I had an experience with Mother Lakshmi when I was first initiated into this manthra. While working in shipping and receiving at Banyen Books I was chanting the manthra in my mind. I noticed an old box tucked away behind a table against the wall. I had never noticed it before so I asked if anyone knew what it was. Nobody knew so I pulled it out and opened it. Inside was a Lakshmi statue. The lower left arm (Lakshmi is depicted with four arms) was broken off with the piece sitting there in the box as well. Since it was broken, I received it for free and brought it with me on the bus ride home that evening.
When I arrived at the covered bus stop, I found a big paper bag sitting on the bench. I looked around to see who had left it behind. There was no one else there so I looked inside the bag and found that it was filled with an assortment of fresh baking: croissants, muffins and pastries! I brought the bag with me on the bus, still chanting the Lakshmi manthra internally.
As I approached my apartment in downtown Vancouver, I saw a man sitting on the street looking cold and hungry, with all of his belongings beside him. I offered him the bag of fresh baking and he gratefully accepted. He then pointed to the statue under my arm and said, “Is that Lakshmi?” I was surprised that he recognized who the statue was. He explained that he had come from a family where his parents had been students of Yoga. Seeing the broken arm, he told me he might have something to use to fix it. Going through his bags, he pulled out a brand new, unopened package of Gorilla Glue - one of the best superglues I know of! He told me I could keep it. As soon as I got home, I glued the arm back on. I still have that statue sitting on my altar. Whenever I feel I need support in any way, I can look at that symbol of Lakshmi Ma and invoke her energy and guidance in my life.
What were the chances the events lined up as they did? This abundance of giving and receiving is what mother Lakshmi opens us up to in real time. Another time, I even had six thousand dollars gifted to me when I invoked an aspect of the divine feminine from the lineage. And these are just the external signs.
The internal shifts speak volumes of course and many people who have devoted themselves to the Divine Mother (Shakthi in her various forms) can attest to that. That is why for both Maitreyiji and myself this is a program of great significance. We want to not only spread the word but enlist everyone we know. We are typically an introverted organization, despite being heart centered and want to celebrate our connection to Mother Lakshmi.

About The Teacher
Yogacharini Maitreyi comes from the Lakshmi Narasimha Lineage through her maternal grandfather who was her first guru.
Maitreyi in her younger days was more drawn to principles of Nirguna (formless, attributeless) Brahman ( supreme consciousness) due to going to Catholic school run by nuns in Chennai India. She however was drawn to the Mother Mary statue at school . She was drawn to chanting both in the Christian Chapels in school as well as the Homas or fire ceremonies in her grandfather's home. Once she connected with the symbolism and the science behind the forms or manifestations she fully embraced her lineage. She saw how the sciences of Tantra, Mantra and Yantra allow for the manifestation of beauty, love and harmony in our own lives using the symbolism and the stories of human-like gods and goddesses to serve as role models and embodiments of love.
Maitreyi studied in both the Shivananda and Ananda ashrams as well and was given many titles by her gurus and government bodies.
Yogacharini Maitreyi is an international master teacher, practical mystic and founder of Arkaya Awareness Center and Arkaya Foundation.
